The majority of custom embroidered Girl Scout badges are relatively small, between 2” to 3.5”. Seeing as you only have so much room on your sash or vest, most people try to go as small as possible. Who can blame them! It’s cheaper, and you only have so much room, after all. Just keep in mind the amount of text and detail will often determine the size. For a little bit of text (10 characters or less) and a simple design, 2” patches are great. However if it’s for an Encampment, Sock–hop, Me &My Guy, or any special event that needs nice detail, then more than likely it will be 3”-3.5” size range.
